BRUNCH was established in 1994 and currently represents 22 housing co-operatives. One of its main goals is to be the voice at the government level on all things that need to be addressed and discussed for the betterment of the co-operative housing sector.
During the year BRUNCH puts on two workshops: a mini-workshop in April which is on Board Basics, and later in October the workshops are of a broader range. These workshops give the members a chance to attend the classes and get a better insight on just what the co-op housing sector is all about.
BRUNCH is entering its 15th year as an association for the co-operative housing sector and looks forward to serving its members for many years to come.

Established in 1946 with its creamery, Carleton Co-operative Ltd now boasts of a full service Grocery Store, Gas Bar, and Country Store which carries a complete line of feed products, crop inputs, farm inputs and animal health supplies to meet the needs of farms of all sizes, as well as supplying both urban and rural consumers with a wide selection of hardware, pet food and lawn and garden supplies.

The Sussex & Studholm Agricultural Society #21 was established in 1841 by a group of farmers for the betterment and improvement of agriculture in the parishes of Sussex and Studholm. It is believed to be the oldest continuously operating Agricultural Society in the world. This member owned co-operative remains a very important part of Sussex and Studholm's heritage and community, and it currently has approximately 2,600 members.
Since its establishment in 1841, the Sussex & Studholm Agricultural Society #21 has met with continued success, including a Livestock Auction (introduced in 1958), a Community Pasture (introduced in 1960), a Grocery Store (introduced in 1970 and currently undergoing renovations), and a Gas Bar (introduced in 1989). A fire in 1987 saw the rebuilding of the Farm Store in 1988, as well as the establishment of a Feed Mill.
With offices in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Riverview, New Brunswick and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Atlantic Central’s role is to provide liquidity management, payments processing and trade association services that support the credit unions of Atlantic Canada. Since its opening in 1995, Fundy Funeral Home has been providing dedicated service to members and non-members in the Saint John and surrounding areas. Its founders were all members of the co-op / Credit Union movement who had a vision, whereby funeral services could be provided for the community through member ownership, and thereby offering more affordable costs. The SNB Wood Co-operative Limited was formed in 1974 to become the business arm of the Wood Producers Association. The Co-op obtained contracts and bought forest products from its members to be resold to industries. By combining the many small volumes of individual woodlot owners in a single larger volume, the Co-op was able to negotiate better prices for its members.
Any interested person may join the Co-op upon approval of the Board of Directors. Today, the Co-op has over 1,655 members and is managed by a Board of nine directors.

The Co-op Supply Center division started to service the agricultural community and members of the co-operative with farm related supplies. Its facility and lines have expanded over the years to include a broad line of hardware and building supplies. There is NO membership required to shop at this retail store, it predominately services the residents of the City of Miramichi.
Food Service division has evolved and expanded its facilities to service Northumberland's growing restaurant and institutional customer base. The broad line of fresh product such as milk, cream, butter, juices and sour cream is only the beginning to an even longer line up of frozen products available through the provincial distribution of Northumberland's Food service division. The frozen products include a list of over 2,000 items including anything from ice cream, novelties, specialty deserts to main course meals to snacking finger foods.
Since their incorporation on May 25 1989, St. Croix Valley have strived to meet their purpose, to provide affordable rental family housing to low and moderate income families. In 1990 the company constructed 20 town houses and 12 two-bedroom apartments. construction was finished in 2005.
